The Montarville Veterinary Hospital has been managed by veterinarians Gabriel Sauvé, Catherine Peeters and Justine Quesnel since 2022. All three are passionate about animals, medicine and people, and represent a natural continuation of the hospital's mission.
The establishment was founded in 1977 by two veterinary doctors, Francis Landry and Jacques Dupré, at 1649 Montarville Street, on the property of the physician Donat Fournier, the current site of the Caisse Desjardins du Mont-Saint-Bruno. The two vets quickly acquired land at 11 Seigneurial Boulevard to build a new building, which they moved into in 1978.
Dr. Benoit Couture joined the company in 1986, first as a student and then as a veterinarian. He became the sole owner of the hospital in 1998, before joining forces with Isabelle Marois in 2015. In 2008, the hospital moved to its current premises, at 1681 Montarville Street.
Drs. Catherine Peeters and Gabriel Sauvé joined the hospital's veterinary team in 2019 and 2020. They discover an environment that is consistent with their values and practices in addition to caring for patients and their families. In 2022, Dr. Justine Quesnel gladly joined the company alongside her former colleague and her spouse. That same year marked the retirement of Dr. Couture, proud to pass on the torch to these three dynamic and caring veterinarians.
